Know your audience – It doesn’t matter how much money you spend, if you aren’t showing the right people, you won’t get any sells.  Make sure you know who buys your product or service the most, then make sure to target them.

Know your goal – There are multiple types of online ads, if you don’t choose the one that goes with your goals, you won’t reach your goals.  For example, if you want to be where people are ready to buy, Google search ads are where you want to be.  If you advertise on Facebook, you will be disappointed & waste money because you won’t get immediate sells like you would if you were on Google.

Know your budget – Decide how much you want to spend on paid online advertising before you start because if will affect where you advertise.  If you have a small budget, it won’t go far on Google.  However, since Facebook is cheaper to advertise on, you will get more bang for your buck. 

Knowing these things will not only help you successfully plan your online marketing strategy, it will help reach your goals, & ultimately save you money!
